Here you may create and participate in forums where threads of conversation are posted under individual topics.  A forum is used to cover a range of topics relating to a single concept, purpose, or enterprise.  Each topic that you or others post within that forum can be used to spawn a thread or line of related discussion.  For forums that you create, you can control who participates in the forums—they may be open to the public or restricted to "invitation only."

NOTES are similar to, but not the same as, newsgroups or chat rooms; rather they are a platform to facilitate a professional exchange, regardless of the forum being public or private.

Because of this, there are a few basic ground rules:

1. participants must use their real names instead of hiding behind screen names.  We believe that this will ensure responsible and thoughtful participation.  Anybody found behaving in a manner that would be unacceptable in a typical corporate environment will be politely excused from participation;

2. no sexually explicit, vulgar, or defamatory material allowed;

3. no shameless solicitation or commercial advertisements (except our own banner advertising).
